Add our Date Validation Services to your cart and place an order. Once we receive your order, you'll receive an intake email, which you must fill out for us to begin our process. Our report typically takes 24-72 hours to return.

What Will You Validate?
We can validate their name, age, whether they’re married, work history, and almost all the details you’d like to know if it’s true. However, we don’t guarantee that we can validate every item you’d like to validate, as many factors go into sleuthing. Especially if the person we are sleuthing isn’t being fully honest with you.

What We Will Need
Most clients don’t know their date’s last name or phone number yet. We ask you questions about the person, including what they are into, what they do for work, if they have siblings, where they grew up, and other questions. We always ask for a photo of the person we are sleuthing and a copy of their dating profile. The more information you can provide the better.

Validation Report
Our report will provide everything you need, including information confirmation, irregularities, social media information, news articles, and public records. We will also explain what we couldn’t validate and why, including if we find any public or arrest records that could potentially pose a safety risk to you.

Pre-Date Information
When purchasing our Date Monitoring Service, you’ll be asked questions about who your date is and what your plans are during the date. It’s very important that we have all the details to keep you safe. If your plans change before or during the date, text us.

Technology
For this service, you’ll need a cell phone with GPS capabilities. When you schedule the date, we will get you all set up. During your date, we will Geo-fence your plans to allow us to be quickly notified if you deviate from your initial plans.

Check-Ins
During your date, there will be multiple check-ins: prior to the date to verify your GPS is working, an exit plan if requested, mid-date, end-of-date, and if you deviate from your date plans. You’ll have 15 minutes to respond. You can always customize your check-ins with us, too.

Emergency Contact
When signing up, you’ll provide an Emergency Contact. We will only use it if something happens on your date and we don’t receive a response within 15 minutes. We will continue to monitor your location and provide all the details of your date to your Emergency Contact.

What makes The Dating Sleuth different?It's simple, it's our process. We live in a world where it's very easy to Google someone's name or phone number to find them online. But that doesn't always show you everything. People who aren't being fully honest pay to remove certain information, may provide a fake name, use a burner phone, or other way to deceive. In addition, before you go on a first date, you may not know their last name or phone number. We help verify that person even without that information. We build connections with the information provided and deep dive into multiple databases to find that person.

Can I use these services if I'm outside of the United States?No, our products are solely for individuals in the US.

What is your cancellation policy? Can I reschedule a Date Monitoring Service?We do not offer cancellations for any of our services. However, we understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you may do so by contacting us at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. To reschedule, please email us at info@thedatingsleuth.com with your preferred new date and time, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that any rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your appointment will not be accepted, and you will be responsible for the full-service fee. Thank you for your understanding.

How much info do you need for Date Validation Services?We always ask for all the information you have on the person we are sleuthing, including if you have their name, phone number, job, hobbies, favorite restaurants, favorite brands, screenshots of their dating profile, etc. This allows us to do a true deep dive into the person. Most clients we help only have the person's first name, profile information, and what they've discussed in the dating app. But with our Sleuthing skills, we are always very good at finding that person, even with minimal information.

What if you can't validate the person?There are times when we cannot find anything on the person. Usually, this can be two things: minimal information provided. At that point, we will reach out to you to see if there is more information you can provide. The more common reason is that the person is being deceptive. We will send a report with everything we did to try to find that person and our findings.

How long does it take for Date Validation Services?You'll receive the finalized date verification report back within 24-72 hrs.

If you find out information during the Date Validation Service, will you provide that to me?Yes besides their phone number and address for privacy reasons. We validate the information you have and validate if it's truthful. We will provide social media accounts, news articles, and public records. We will provide any information about the person we are sleuthing that would put you at a safety risk, including arrests, domestic violence past, etc.

What if the date is longer than 5 hours while using Date Monitoring Services?If you expect your date to last longer than 5 hours or if it is a potential overnight date, we can extend our monitoring service for an additional $20 every 5 hours. Please let us know when booking that you need additional hours of monitoring.

I'm on my date using Date Monitoring Services, and we are changing our initial plans; how do I let you know?This happens all the time: You're feeling a vibe with your date, and drinks turn into dinner that turns into a walk around the city. Text us the new plans, and we will continue monitoring based on those new plans. If the date is longer than 5 hours, you can always let us know you no longer need us at the final check-in or opt to pay for additional time. We charge $20 additional for every 5 hours.
